As you read these lines, you may wonder why our foreign guests choose a tattoo parlour in Budapest. Do they book their appointment weeks or months before they come to Hungary? Some do, but most of them come to us for a “Walk-In Tattoo”. But what does that really mean?
Most of the time, tourists on holiday in Budapest, or people coming here for work, decide to get a Walk-In tattoo. The idea is that the guest walks into the studio without booking an appointment, does not ask for an appointment, but immediately gets the chosen design done. Of course, this is only possible if there is at least one free tattooist in the studio.
A Walk-In tattoo is usually a smaller, simpler, not too time-consuming design. People often come to us with a specific design in mind, but sometimes they don’t have any ideas about it. In that case, they can even choose from our pre-drawn flash designs. Sometimes a Walk-In guest may want a larger tattoo. At Creation Tattoo Shop we make it a priority to ensure that everyone gets the tattoo they would like.
Today, the “Walk-In” phenomenon is becoming more and more popular, presumably due to minimalist trends and our fast-paced world. Young people nowadays prefer simpler designs that don’t require planning and are easy to fit into their busy schedules. Many people choose it to get memories from Budapest – friends, couples, families, festival visitors – while others get their tattoos in Hungary for financial reasons. We, tattoo artists get to meet a lot of great people as a result. These sessions are usually very cheerful, and our guests often promise to come back to our studio soon.
